Choose by style

Modern , where embossed ones with a 3D effect stand out, as well as Vintage, Geometric or Floral .

Selection by carpet type

Belgian carpets – available in modern colors and patterns, high quality and elasticity of the fiber, approaching that of wool. They have an antistatic coating that protects against static electricity and pollution, including pet hair.

Luxury and designer – are usually handmade or semi-handmade from natural and specially selected materials. Most of them are also available in custom sizes.

Shaggy or also known as Shaggy – they have long hairs of about 50 mm, with the recent trend being towards a shorter height of 25 – 30 mm.

Soft and fluffy – they are made of soft microfiber, extremely gentle and pleasant to the touch.

Selection by materials

For the colder months - from October to March - a good option is to use more solid carpets that are thicker and heavier.
And for warmer weather - from April to September - you can use lighter and thinner ones, such as those made of cotton or viscose, as well as flat fabrics.

Selection by room

The most common ones are for the living room, bedroom, den or children's room. There are also easy-to-clean and wear-resistant models for the kitchen or for outdoors, resistant to external weather conditions and UV rays.

Choose by color

Carpets in more neutral colors, such as white, beige, cream, gray or silver, go with almost any interior.

Brighter colors - yellow, green, orange, pink or turquoise - add freshness and vitality to the room.

We usually associate classic carpets with red or blue, but they can now also be used to achieve a number of modern effects.

Darker colors, such as purple, blue, brown or black, add more weight and a sense of luxury.

What are the main dimensions and characteristics?

According to their size, carpets can be grouped into:

- small: 100 x 150; 120 x 170 cm;

- medium: 130 x 190; 160 x 230 and 170 x 240 cm;

- large: 190 x 290; 250 x 350 and 300 x 400 cm;

In terms of carpet shapes, rectangular ones are the most preferred, but in recent years, round ones have also gained great popularity, overtaking elliptical and oval ones in demand.

Technical characteristics

• knots for hand-made or stitches for machine-made – determines the density of tying or weaving - which can vary from 40,000 to over 1 million knots or stitches per sq.m.
• pile height or velour – indicates the height of the pile - from 0 mm for flat-woven carpets and rugs to 100 mm for long-pile shag or Flokati carpets;
• weight per square meter – determines the total weight, including the carpet base - thin with a weight of 1 kg/sq m to heavy hand-knotted with a weight of over 7 kg/sq m.
